Bridging the Breastfeeding Gap Event

Event Overview

Enjoy a day of connection, resources, and empowerment! This is an event that brings together providers, community members, and families to create equitable breastfeeding support for all. Join us for lunch and resources at 11 am, a parent panel at 12.30 pm and a keynote presentation for lactation professionals at 1 pm.

Keynote Presenter: Nekisha Killings, MPH, IBCLC. This presentation will explore how lactation professionals can build trust and stronger connections with families through compassionate, respectful, and culturally sensitive care. Attendees will learn practical strategies to improve communication, overcome barriers, and ensure every patient feels heard, valued, and supported throughout their lactation journey.
