At our preschool, we believe in providing a stimulating and child-centered learning environment that fosters curiosity and a love for learning. As you step into our classrooms, you will notice how the physical space is thoughtfully divided into various interest areas, each designed to ignite your child's imagination and exploration. These interest areas include Art, Blocks, Dramatic Play, Discovery, Sand and Water, Toys and Games, Music and Movement, Library, Technology, and Cooking. Through open-ended activities in these areas, children are encouraged to explore and discover at their own pace.

Holistic Development and Michigan Early Childhood Standards

Our curriculum focuses on six content areas: science, social studies, literacy, math, the arts, and technology. By participating in the interest areas, children develop essential skills tied to the Michigan Early Childhood Standards. As they delve into projects and activities that intrigue them, they are immersed in a well-rounded learning experience that nurtures their intellectual, social, and emotional growth.

The Power of Creative Curriculum

We take pride in using the Creative Curriculum, a research-based approach that aligns perfectly with the way children naturally learn and develop. Our teachers serve as classroom facilitators, guiding, observing, and assessing each child's learning journey. To structure our lessons effectively, we utilize Creative Curriculum Study Starters, which serve as models for project-based learning. Through these studies, children delve deeper into science and social studies concepts while honing their literacy, math, arts, and technology skills. This engagement allows them to think critically and explore topics that genuinely interest them, fostering a passion for learning.
