Ferndale Early Childhood Center is a school family dedicated to the joy, laughter, love and happiness of every child.  Where play is valued as the work of a child and accepted as the foundation of the learning process.  A place where teachers focus on the whole child, acknowledge student interest and individualize based on each child's unique needs.  Where families are seen as partners, first teachers, and play an important role in creating a school family culture.  At FECC we utilize HighScope, a play-based, student led, curriculum that focuses active learning, promoting independence, social-emotional skills and academic readiness.   We offer full-day programming for 3-5 year olds and have 3, 4 or 5 day options.
