The Troy School District Preschool provides a world class early learning experience for all learners. Your child will receive a high quality foundation of learning in a nurturing, inclusive, and literacy-rich environment directly aligned to our K-12 TSD curriculum. TSD Preschool teachers offers play-based opportunities focused on building from students' strengths and interests. We work in partnership with our Kindergarten colleagues for a seamless and successful transition to kindergarten.

Oakland County families have access to several high-quality, no-cost preschool options designed to support young children and their caregivers.

GSRP, Great Start Readiness Program
  • GSRP is a state funded preschool program in Michigan for eligible four year olds. It helps children build early learning, social, and school readiness skills. The program provides high quality instruction to prepare children for kindergarten.

Head Start:
  • Head Start is a federally funded preschool program for eligible children and families. It supports children’s learning and development while also offering family resources and health services. Head Start focuses on the whole child and works in partnership with families to help children succeed in school and beyond.
