Somerset Academy is a NAEYC accredited Early Childhood Center dedicated to supporting each child in all areas of development. Programs emphasize creativity, social/emotional development, and cognitive skills. We build on children’s natural desire to explore and understand the world around them. The program and curriculum of the school create a safe, stimulating environment in which children are free to discover and create.
Our programs encourage children to explore through active play and to become involved in a variety of experiences in art, science, math, language arts, technology, sensory, music, physical development, and movement. Our Project Approach curriculum enables children to explore content based on their inquiries and interests and provides intentional opportunities to develop physical, social, and cognitive skills. We provide an inclusive environment that emphasizes each child’s uniqueness and individuality and provides for optimum growth. We value collaboration, connection, and open communication with families.
